 What should my club name be? Scroll to Top Top
Your club name can be whatever you desire. The name may be associated with more than one Recreation License Unit and may be used from one year to the next.

 What do I need to be a hunt club? Scroll to Top Top
A hunt club is the distinct list of people with their correct addresses, who are included on and have signed the recreation license acquired by the Club Contact on behalf of the Club Members.

 When does bidding start? Scroll to Top Top
Renewals will begin April 1, 2008. New Lease oppurtunities will begin June 1, 2008.

 Who is a club contact? Scroll to Top Top
The Club Contact represents the Hunt Club to sehunting.com and is ultimately responsible for payment of the license fee. The contact can be the president, secretary, or treasurer of the club, but it is very important that they understand that they will be the primary person contacted by email about invoices, dues, member addresses, etc. This person should have good internet connection and be the type of person who uses and checks email frequently.

 How do I navigate the map? Scroll to Top Top
Click and drag the map to explore available RLUs. Click on directional arrows to move map. Click + to zoom in and - to zoom out.Mouseover and click a marker to view RLU details and to place your bid. Note: RLU boundaries will be displayed on the map when you zoom in. You can also use the filter to help you find the RLU you want.

 How should I choose a password? Scroll to Top Top
All sehunting.com account passwords must be over 6 characters in length. Here are some tips for choosing a stong password for your account:1. Make it over eight characters in length. Short passwords are easier to crack than long passwords.2. Combine letters, numbers, and symbols, but Not sequential or repeating combinations, such as "12345678," "222222," "abcdefg," or adjacent letters on your keyboard. Not common words with letters replaced by numbers or symbols, such as "M1cr0$0ft" or "P@ssw0r

 How does the RLU filter work? Scroll to Top Top
The filter allows you to easily find RLUs with the qualities that you want. You can search for RLUs that have:
  • A certain acerage
  • Bow hunting only
  • Still hunting only
  • Good Bear HuntingAfter you choose options, select "Apply Filter" to update the map with your refined search options. The filter will be applied to everything you see on the map until you select "Clear Filter"

    Outbid: Another hunter has bid more than your last bid. At this time you can increase your bid.Pending: Your last bid has been placed and is currently the highest, or only bid.Accepted: Your bid has been accepted. The liscensing process will begin.Declined: Another hunter has been accepted. Any other bids have been declined.

     I created an account but I can't log in or place bids. Scroll to Top Top
    A valid email address is critical to activate an account! Please watch for the verification email and click the enclosed link to activate the account. If you did not receive the verification email, please check the SPAM/junk mail filter on your email account. You may also want to check your account and make sure you input your email address correctly. You must have a valid email account to verify your sehunting.com account. Free email accounts may be established at Yahoo.com, hotmail.com, and others.

     What if my RLU has too many or too few acres? Scroll to Top Top
    There have been some mistakes in the transfer of information throughout this transition so if your RLU has what you feel is the wrong total acres, please email hunt@mdneal.com for VA/NC RLUs or slcotney@choctawwildlife.com for AL RLUs and let us know what you leased last year and the acres you were expecting to get this year. Please understand that this is new to us as well and we are doing the best we can to ensure everyone get the land they are supposed to.

     When will I be notified that I have the winning bid? Scroll to Top Top
    As soon as the administrator is able to verify the acres and the parcels one last time, as well as ensure that your total is correct, she will then accept it. This may take up to 3-5 days. Please do not call to ask when your bid will be approved.
